Experienced Barista - 3/4 days per week

ABOUT US

We are looking for a barista to work across our two sites.

Bad Manners is a grab and go Mexican concept in the middle of Shoreditch serving burritos, specialty coffee and more. We have just moved to this new spot having previously been in Hackney Central for three years where we gained a cult following.

Good Manners is a neighbourhood specialty coffee kiosk in Canonbury. Since opening in December 2023, we’ve built a strong reputation for high-quality coffee and friendly service.

Our house espresso is supplied by Plot, and we feature a rotating selection of filter and retail coffees from roasters around the UK.

ABOUT YOU

• At least one year of experience in a specialty coffee environment
• Consistent milk steaming and latte art
• An understanding of coffee theory and the ability to adjust recipes
• An interest in the wider food and coffee industry
• A team player with a proactive approach and willingness to take responsibility
• Good vibes and a friendly personality

ABOUT THE ROLE

• 3/4 days per week, including at least one weekend shift
• Working alongside a front-of-house team during busy periods and solo during quieter times
• Potential for head barista or management responsibilities for the right candidate
