The Role
As a member of the Engineering Team, the postholder will be responsible for maintaining our range of coffee equipment including Marzocco, Kees van der Westen, Rex, Conti, Wega, Mazzer, Mahlkonig, Simonelli, Compak, Marco, Bunn, Fetco, Instanta through the effective and efficient management of all scheduling activities of the service engineering team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
People Management: -Lead and motivate a team to achieve company objectives and individual targets on time. -Ensure effective communication to all staff in relation to company issues as appropriate. -Provide advice and guidance to staff on people issues as required by the company. -Operational responsibilities
Other:
-Effective and efficient management of all scheduling activities of the service engineering team. -Responding to customer callouts to agreed service levels. -Completion of all preventative maintenance activities to schedule. -Liaise with new customer accounts to plan installation and training activities in line with customers’ site opening plans. -Create, implement and review daily route plans to ensure maximum team efficiency. -Prioritise and plan workshop repairs and refurbishments. -Develop, implement and review engineering pre-installation guides for customers. -Respond to all customer calls in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. -Liaise between customer and engineering/training teams on large projects ensuring timely and accurate scheduling and communication in relation to progress and completion of projects. -Log of all engineering jobs on our Field Service Systems and maintain all data fields to ensure efficient operation of systems. -Identify opportunities to up-sell service plans to customers who own their own equipment. -Produce and provide reports as required.
